Horses are our family

Every foal is family to us, and they are raised as such. They spend time with our kids and learn to be domestic horses right from their first moments. We take care and pride in matching them with the right owner to ensure their long-term happiness and success.

A girl who loved horses

My love of horses started at the age of 2, when my aunt put me on my first horse. From then on, I was hooked. She started putting me in lead line shows, and then I started English riding lessons when I was 5. I had a natural ability to ride and work with these amazing animals - which I never took for granted.

At the age of 18 I bought my first horse from an auction in Thorsby, Alberta. This yearling taught me a lot of lessons along the way. He is still with me today, and I'll never let him go.

A few years after purchasing him, I bought his sister and moved them to a breeding farm in Stony Plain, Alberta. This is where I fell in love with breeding. During that time, I worked with an Arabian stallion named Crown Cazar; I bred two of my mares with him before moving to British Columbia to start my own breeding operation.

I wanted to do something unique, and decided to pursue draft crosses to create the ideal amateur-friendly sporthorse. At Battle River Farms in Saskatchewan, I met Battle River Jasper and knew that he was the key to my new program. His wonderful disposition, power and bone crosses with the lighter breeds to create a safe and athletic competitor - not to mention a wonderful family pet!

In 2013, we also branched out into breeding purebred Warmbloods to expand our program.
